    This is a February 22, 1862 Civil War Special Requisition Voucher #40 of the 3rd New York Cavalry.  This clothing list includes uniform jacket, trousers and boots received at Camp Bates in Poolsville, MD.  Signed by Simon Mix, Major (he was mortally wounded in 1864 at Petersburg) and Charles Fitzsimmons, Capt.  Overall excellent condition.  Look for the other Civil War paper we are listing to combine shipping.
